The Advoc8te kicked off 2016 on a bittersweet note. On New Year's Day I did an interview with Fox 5 about a cold case murder that I filmed in 2011. I know many community folks remember the night, Mohammed Abduselam, a King gas station attendant was murdered right outside the Congress Heights community Mtng.
After four years police finally made an arrest -- an 18 year old -- meaning at 14 year old he took a life. Words cannot express Just how tragic for all involved. The lives lost to violence are just to devastating to measure.
