Come see me in "The October Issue" at the Source Theater on Sept 18th!

The Advocate is pleased as punch and very flattered to have once again scored "cover girl" status! On Friday, September 18th at 8pm come see me as the "cover girl"  in a theatrical and improvised performance of a women's magazine -- The October Issue! Tickets are now on sale and I would love to see all my friends and readers in the audience. You can watch me be interviewed on stage and improv skits put together based on my answers and stories. Washington Improv Theater is thrilled to present The October Issue for the Women's Voices Theatre festival in the fall of 2015.

The all-female cast of The October Issue create an improvised women’s magazine that gives an unvarnished look at life from a woman’s perspective. The show will feature articles, interviews, quizzes, photoshoots, horoscopes, advice columns, and a lot of unnecessary tips.

Audience members will watch as the cast flips through the pages of a completely made up publication and bring it to life with their ideas and suggestions! Inspired, fun and Photoshop-free, this magazine will be held to the highest standards of keeping it real and keeping it really hilarious.
