About that time I was on Good Morning America...

I can't say enough good things about the Soar With Reading and JetBlue partnership to bring 100,000 FREE children's books to communities east of the Anacostia River. The idea of vending machines that dispense FREE books to Ward 7 and Ward 8 families is such a great idea! Soar with Reading & JetBlue was also kind enough to provide us with free books at THEARC. 

So I was pleased as punch when I was asked to read to a group of kids at Matthews Memorial Baptist Church. As luck would have it a crew from Good Morning America was on hand to cover the Soar With Reading project. If you have sharp eyes (all the better to read with!) you may spot The Advocate.
