PRESS RELEASE
Young Mothers INC. Offers Free Makeovers To
Homeless and Disconnected Youth

Young Mothers INC. will host its 2nd annual “I Love You Makeover” event for homeless and disconnected youth on Saturday, April 25th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Covenant House Washington, 2001 Mississippi Avenue S.E., Washington, D.C. 20020.

The makeovers are intended to help build self esteem and confidence in young women being served by Covenant House Washington, as well as provide them with support from professional women in their community.  This year’s event will feature skilled makeup artists who have donated their time and expertise to teach our young women helpful techniques to maintain their appearance and prepare for job interviews. All beauty and hygiene products being used at the event are donations from community partners.

Young Mothers INC.  is a 501 c 3 tax exempt organization created by women for women, invested in educating, mentoring, nurturing and supporting young mothers and young women, while providing a loving and safe environment to explore new options and grow into confident role models. Proceeds are used to sponsor activities, provide stipends and help young women and their families meet daily needs.
