But enough with the dudes. D.C. Women in Politics, a group focused on women's issues, held votes to decide on which candidates to endorse (only women were allowed to compete). In Ward 4, Renee Bowser, who's alreadyhitting Todd in mailers, won the endorsement.

In Ward 8, the group backed Ward 8 Democrats president Natalie Williams, who beat Vince Gray favorite Sheila Bunn and narrowly edged out Muriel Bowser-endorsed LaRuby May.
