Shepherd Parkway’s 205 acres are home to two Civil War forts, two bald eagle nests, and some of the oldest forests in DC. Help us remove trash and invasive species from this important but neglected natural area in Ward 8.
Meet at the picnic tables near the corner of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X Avenues SE
Gloves, bags, and light refreshments will be provided. Wear boots and clothes you can get dirty.
