Start your New Year with festive brass! Trinity Washington University is hosting a very special concert this Sunday, January 11, at 2:00 pmin Notre Dame Chapel and YOU are invited!
Sunday’s brass ensemble concert will feature musicians from the National Symphony Orchestra and the Duke Ellington School of the Arts.
Trinity is a partner at THEARC and is proud to host this concert as part of the National Symphony Orchestra’s "2015 NSO In Your Neighborhood" program, a week-long series of concerts in venues from Brookland to NoMa. We are especially pleased to partner with the Duke Ellington School of the Arts and feature several talented musicians from this outstanding D.C. high school.
This concert is free and open to the public, and families are welcome. This is a wonderful opportunity to listen to great music while enjoying the beauty of Trinity’s Notre Dame Chapel.
Doors open at 1:30 pm and no tickets or reservations are needed.
Trinity is located at 125 Michigan Avenue, NE. Trinity offers free parking on campus and. a free shuttle to and from the Brookland Metro stop on the Red line. There is a Metro bus stop in front of the campus, near Notre Dame Chapel, that is served by several Metro bus routes. There is also street parking on Michigan Avenue.
