The issue of having children out of wedlock and/or teen pregnancy is a huge issue in the District of Columbia, particularly in east of the river communities where resources are already pushed to the limit. I've always thought that all the social programs and affordable housing in the world won't stop generational poverty until we address family planning and broken families.
