UPDATE: Month-Long Closure of L Street SE between 10^thStreet and 11^th Street Extended until September 30, 2014

(Washington, DC) As part of the 11^th Street Bridge Project, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will extend the closure of L Street SE, between 10^th Street and 11^th Street.

The closure, which began at the end of July 2014, is needed for crews to complete sidewalk and drainage reconstruction work. L Street SE, between 10^th Street and 11^th Street, is now scheduled to reopen by Tuesday, September 30, 2014. 

Signed detours will be posted during the closure:

DETOURS

·        Motorists traveling eastbound on L Street SE will be detoured to 10^th Street, then to M Street to access 11^th Street.

·        Motorists traveling on 11^th Street SE will be routed to M Street, then onto 10^th Street to access L Street.                                                                                                                                                                                                       

In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen conditions, this work will be rescheduled and an updated advisory will be distributed.
