Anacostia's revitalization efforts continue with today's L'enfant Trust ribbon cutting ceremony

The plans for Saint Elizabeths East redevelopment may be considered Congress Heights' silver bullet but Anacostia's shotgun approach to community revitalization continues to dominate. 

Today the L'Enfant Trust held a ribbon cutting ceremony for their newly restored property on 2010 14th Street SE in historic Anacostia. In less than six months this historic preservation nonprofit totally rehabbed and restored this former shell into one beautiful single family home! The Advoc8te would have snatched it up in a minute if she could!  

The Advoc8te is about to run out to a meeting at Saint Elizabeths East but I wanted to post some pictures from today's ribbon cutting ceremony and open house.
