Eat, Drink And Be Merry at NURISH Food + Drink!

Just a reminder that inside of the Anacostia Arts Center is NURSH Food + Drink a coffeeshop cafe that sells some of the most delicious, healthy, and well-prepared food east of the river. Please take an opportunity to support this local business (and all of our local businesses in general). East of the river small businesses rely heavily on community support. Your coffee, lunch or happy hour visit makes the difference between a successful or struggling business. If we want "more" east of the river we have to support these projects!

So please spread the word, bring some some hungry/thirsty friends and come back often! While you are at it, use your social media profiles to spread the word and put pressure politely ask the government agencies in the area to spend their lunch dollars in the community -- no more ducking over the bridge to Barracks Row for lunch! Lets encourage our friends at  @DCDHCD and @DCLottery to join us for lunch more often in the community. It is a great way to get to know our government friends.

NURISH Food and Drink is open Tuesday - Saturday. 10am - 7pm, Tuesday - Thursday and Friday and Saturday they close at 8pm. NURISH is located in the rear of the Anacostia Arts Center located at 1231 Good Hope Rd SE. They have just added NEW items to the menu and have lowered the prices on others! So come on in and check it out!

FYI: The June Sunday Super is being moved from June 15th (Father's Day) to a new date. As soon as I  have the event brite link I will post it so you can get your tickets to the new date. :)
