Local sewists from the DC Modern Quilt Guild will be holding a sew-in from 10:30-4:30 at the Anacostia Arts Center. Bring your own sewing project and join in the fun, or drop by just to see the work that is being created. Techniques in use will be: rotary cutting, machine piecing, machine quilting, hand piecing (English Paper Piecing), binding, and more. Members will be happy to answer questions about their work and give short demos to illustrate different techniques. Just ask!
