America's first multicultural, bilingual, artist-run museum -- Fondo del Sol/MOCHA -- has immediate openings for 1-2 strong interns for the 2014 Spring Term. Founded in May of 1973, Fondo del Sol has spent over 40 years in dedication to the cultural visions of immigrants in the United States (www.fondodelsol.org).

The Internship Program consists of 3-6 hours per week, with training in Latino, Chicano, Afro-American, Caribbean, and Native American art, film, and music. Hours are flexible, knowledge of Spanish is useful, and paid internship positions are available after 3-4 weeks training to those consistent and willing in their work, and flexible in their mindset.

Interns may be asked to write an honors paper and take 1-2 examinations if needing to apply for college credit. Previous interns have come from Georgetown, American University, The Corcoran Arts Program, The Skidmore, Yale, and U.C. Berkeley -- and, have gone on to work for the Smithsonian, the International Center for Photography, and elsewhere throughout the world to work, teach, and otherwise develop their talents and knowledge of the arts world.

Applicants should provide bios and a sample of their writing to the Craigslist address listed.
