DC's average rents mapped

This is courtesy of CurbedDC. Go HERE to read the skinny on this map which is tracked by zip codes (so keep that in mind).  While the fine nuances of the map are definetly up for debate I think the broad strokes are still accurate -- east of the river is still THE most "affordable" rental housing around.

So I have to ask the question, "where should new affordable rental housing be concentrated?"
