George Mason University please teach your students to do better
Because this is so not cool or funny. It's just sad.
DC, what is the message we are sending about our city?!
I would really like to see significant efforts to unite our entire city and discourage this type of fear about the SE quadrant (and the NE quadrant from the sound of it). I would like to see at least a modest amount of funding to go toward promoting a more accurate and positive picture of neighborhoods east of the river. This is the nation's capital and it should be given the respect as such -- on both sides of the Anacostia river.
Oh well, I can dream.
