Progress continues at the Friendship Public Charter School

The new school (an expansion of the existing school) is really taking shape. It's nice seeing something of that scale and depth right on the Martin Luther King Jr. Ave corridor. Directly across from the Saint Elizabeths East Gateway DC pavilion there are going to be some wonderful views from the school's windows.

That old McDonald's will definetly not be missed. :)

Now if we can only get some development of some of the commercial spaces --- for businesses please --  on the MLK corridor -- that would be great!
