8 FREE events in Ward 8 today! Here's the lineup!

Update: Oops! There are so many things happening today that I forgot one of my most favorite things -- the Ward 8 Farmers Market! I have corrected my oversight and included them below. I guess that is what you call "high-class" problems -- we have so much to do it is hard to keep track of!

My have things changed! I remember a time when it was a struggle to find fun (and free) things to do in Ward 8 on a Saturday. Now the problem is picking which things to do!

Including a break down of free events happening today in Ward 8 by timeline and location. Be sure to check as many of them out as you can and bring some family and friends!

I recommend all of these events as "must dos"!

In Chocolate City Rest in Peace, photographer Steven M. Cummings documents the many changes that Washington, DC has experienced since 1991. After living here for 22 years, he has come to realize the city is chocolate no more. The final curtain is beginning to draw on the black majority. This exhibit puts forth a small selection of the scenes he has captured. The included images attest to the special relationship he has formed with the city.
