SLOW DOWN! NEW SPEED CAMERA ON MLK AVE IN CONGRESS HEIGHTS

If you are driving along Martin Luther King Jr. Ave SE in front of the Saint Elizabeths campus then you better be driving the speed limit. The Advoc8te peeped a gray box with MPD logos  looks suspiciously like a speed camera -- in fact I am pretty sure it is. Coming down MLK toward Anacostia the box is located right before the UCC campus.

Not that you need a reason to drive the speed limit (because I am sure all of my readers are safe drivers) but now you have an additional incentive to do so. :)

P.S. The speed limit on that section of MLK is 30mph.
