My vintage clothing boutique is open today, 12-5pm! Pay me a visit.

Last night I activated my vintage pop-up boutique in Anacostia during the opening receptions at The Gallery at Vivid Solutions and Honfleur Gallery. Although I oponed this pop-up as part of the LUMEN8Anacostia temporium projects, Once Is Never Enough is a vintage retail business that I started with my mom Denise a decade ago. As far back as I can remember my mommy has been "collecting" and her passion for fashion - on a budget - passed on to me. Thanks to her guidance I can spot a vintage Burberry trench-coat at 1,000 yards and identify vintage cashmere in pitch-blackness (an important skill, let me tell you).  Sometimes I think my "mummy" invented the concept of "retail therapy."

(I miss that bag already!!!)
For our LUMEN8Anacostia pop-up my mom and I selected a few items from our VERY LARGE (too large) collection so there should be something for everyone. Not everything is vintage, but it is fabulous. It was so much fun to see everyone's excitement when they discovered an item special to them, and I have to admit it was a little hard for me to see some things go (like that sweet red leather bag!).

So come check out the Once Is Never Enough Vintage Closet located upstairs at 2208 MLK Jr. Ave SE and other LUMEN8Anacostia temporiums today and every Saturday from noon - 5pm. The pop-ups will only be here thru June 16th, come out and make a day of it in Anacostia!

Including more pictures of my pop-up.

Andrea rocking the leopard velvet coat, she literally pulled that out of my hands. Sold!

Andrea still wouldn't take that coat off! lol!

Belts starting at $3! The vintage furs are a little more but still affordable!

Sam Capies (red shirt) is my pop-up neighbor, his portraits are amazing! Pay him a visit ASAP!
Hmm, I may not be ready to part with this one afterall.
