Join the national campaign to end tobacco use on KICK BUTTS DAY, Wednesday, March 21, 2012. The events are free and open to all.

WARD 7
Aban Institute and Associates, Inc. will host half day program at Dorothy I. Height/ Benning Road Library, 3935 Benning Road, NE, Washington, DC20019 from 2PM – 5PM in meeting room. For more information: Call 202-288-1864or, email: abaninstitute@gmail.com

Program includes: Speakers, Survivors of Tobacco Illnesses, and Youth Presentation. In addition,  there will have resource tables on Healthy Living, Tobacco Prevention including:  DOH, Transforming U, LLC, Wards 7 an d 8 DC Prevention Center, Breathe DC, CMS Health Initiatives, and more.

WARD 8
Far Southeast Family Strengthening Collaborative and Wards 7 and 8 DC Prevention will co-host evening event  from 6PM – 8PM at UPO, “Petey” Greene Community Center, 2907 Martin L. King Jr.,  Avenue, SE, Washington , DC 20020. For more information: Call: 202-388-3052 or, email: ngreenpc78@gmail.com.
Program includes: Presentation of youth poster contest winners, youth tobacco prevention presentation, update on community tobacco prevention efforts and, entertainment and food.
