March 21 | Info session for EotR Distinguished Artist Award - $5k prize!

Join us this Wednesday, March 21st from 6-7:30pm ARCH Development Corporation is pleased to celebrate it's 21st year in Anacostia by hosting an information session about two upcoming opportunities for East of the River artists & community. Please spread the word and pass along! 6th Annual East of the River Juried Exhibition Our annual exhibition showcasing EotR artists and artwork 1st Annual East of the River Distinguished Artist Award $5,000 awarded to an EotR artist or organization for their contribution to the arts Please come out to learn more about these upcoming events and how you can apply. Free and open to the public.

This year marks Honfleur's 6th Annual exhibit open to any artist who lives, works or has roots in the community (Ward 7 and 8). This year the exhibit will be at both Honfleur Gallery and The Gallery at Vivid Solutions. This is one of our most popular exhibits every year. important dates and timeline Deadline to apply: May 11th at 5pm Artist will be notified by: May 18th Art drop off (ready to hang): July 2nd by 10am Exhibit opens: July 13, 2012 This award recognizes a current East of the Anacostia River artist for artistic excellence as well as significant impact on the DC cultural life.
