Hello doers, thinkers, teachers, and tinkerers!

We hope you’ve been enjoying classes and loving the gorgeous weather. While most of our classes are filled to the gills, there are a couple stellar offerings that still have spots.

Slam the Rails: Metro Poetry With Joe Ross Sunday, March 18th at 4pm.
Join local poet Joe Ross’s  as he reads work that centers on Cool Disco Dan, a DC graffiti legend.  Meet at 4pm on Sunday at Metro Center where we’ll meet to ride the rails up the red line to see the incredible graffiti and get some context for Joe’s work.

Making Rag Rugs Sunday, March 25th at 5pm.
How to turn old jeans, scrubs, and rags into rugs!  This class was just added, so hurry while the spots last!

WMATA Nano Residency Program Sunday, March 25th at 11am.
Ride the 90 bus from end to end, while documenting the experience through photography, video, writing, sketching.  Artists Rob Peterson and Lindsey Renolds will lead the production of a digital zine at Honfleur gallery.  

State of Contemporary Arab Design Monday, March 26th at 6:30pm.
Join Danah Abdulla, founder of Kalimat Magazine as she discusses the future of the Arab design world at the Hamiltonian Gallery.

Aloha, not Goodbye... Friday, March 30th at 7pm.
Come close out the month KCDC style... pinata, drinks, dancing and plans for the future.

We would like to remind that you can always sign up to be on the waitlist if the class you want is full! We do get last minute cancellations and are happy to include as many folks as possible.

We’re already planning programing for June.  Have an auntie with mad juggling skills? Know how to tool leather? Submit your class proposal here. First time teacher? Not to worry... we  can help you find a space, work with you on fine-tuning your class, and we also hold a teacher training session.
