Calling DPW & MPD: Congress Heights Commercial Dumper Strikes Again

Clue?
Sometime Saturday afternoon/evening the ellusive commerical dumper that has been plaguing my neighborhood for months struck again.  I know the police and DPW have more important things to do than stake out my block but something needs to be done to stop this illegal dumping. The dumping happens at least once a week (if not more) and almost always on the stretch of 4th Street SE between Lebaum and Mellon Streets SE. The person (or persons) doing the dumping or so bold they have left items during the day. From the items that are being dumped (tires, construction supplies, car parts) it is pretty clear this is a commercial entity doing the dumping, perhaps even a salvage company. Someone is getting paid to dump garbage in our community and costing DC tax payer dollars to clean it up.

Not cool.

If anyone from MPD 7D or DPW is out there we would love your help to catch this guy in the act. Not sure if it would help but Saturday's dump did include a white bumper with a DC license plate 720423 still attached. It can't be too hard to find the owner of that bumper. Perhaps that person could lead us to the dumper?

Including pictures from the latest dumping incident at the corner of Mellon Street SE & Fourth Street SE.

Past dumps I covered (and there have been twice as many I haven't):
