Oct 27: Public Mtng For St Elizabeths East Master Land Use and Transportation Plan

Because of your recent participation in the Ward 8 Summit, we thought you would be interested in knowing that the DC Office of Planning (DCOP) and DC Department of Transportation (DDOT) are jointly developing a master land use and transportation plan for the St. Elizabeths East Campus. On October 27, 2011, a public meeting will take place to present the revised master plan alternatives and seek input on the preferred plan.
Meeting time: 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Meeting location: Malcolm X Elementary School, 1351 Alabama Avenue SE, Washington, DC 20020
This is the final public meeting on the master plan. The plan will undergo a 30-day written comment period until November 27. Those wishing to make comments at the hearing must notify the agencies by October 26, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. A final hearing on the Transportation Environmental Assessment will take place later this fall.
