Mtng Tonight at DHCD To Discuss Proposed Public Art Installation In Anacostia
Meeting is from 6pm -7pm at the DHCD Resource Center (1800 MLK Jr. Ave SE) for the community to voice their input on the public art installation coming to the corner of Good Hope Rd SE & MLK Jr. Ave SE. If you recall a paper and electronic survey was circulated to the community and the option with the most votes was totem poles with lighting and a garden.
Tonight's meeting is to discuss ideas with the artists who are submitting proposals for the project. If you can make it please attend. The Advoc8te will be at the meeting and will try my best to take notes but you really shouldn't rely on me, my preference was for the light installation. :)
