Aug 27: WABA Hosts Family Ride for Ward 8 Residents
Saturday, August 27th, 2011 at 10AM
Bring out the family and Join WABA for a group ride along the Oxon Run Park Trail. We'll begin our 3 mile bike ride at the Congress Heights Metro Station, just blocks away from the trail-head. After we decorate our bicycles at the Bike Decoration Station, we'll make our way across the area's flat, scenic bike path nestled in the Oxon Run community. Come have some fun, explore the neighborhoods, and meet your friends and neighbors!
Helmets are mandatory on all of WABA rides. Don't have one? Not to worry, we'll be giving out helmets to the first 40 riders!
WHAT: Oxon Run Ride
WHEN: August 27th, at 10:00AM
WHERE: Meet at the Congress Heights Metro Station (GreenLine).
*Note: This event is metro accessible, we will be starting and ending at the Congress Heights Metro Station.
IMPORTANT: Children under 18 must be accompanied by adults and remember helmets are mandatory on all WABA rides!
