Help Wanted: EotR Interns for EotR Projects

Because you really shouldn't spend all summer playing X-Box

Part-time flexible hours, fun projects, and plenty of opportunities to work in and for this great East of the River community.  Computer and social media savvy a huge plus but willing to train. Looking for proactive folks with the vision to dream, the faith to believe, and the obsessive compulsiveness to pull it all together. Must love dogs and hate Justin Bieber (just kidding, must at least tolerate dogs).

So what will you be doing? Just about everything but your core duties will revolve around:
PR
Marketing 
Social Media
East of the River Community Advocacy
Event Planning
Research

Strong preference for folks who live or work in wards 7 and 8 but not a requirement. For now the position is unpaid (but imagine plenty of pizza lunches) but may change in the future. In the meantime, plenty of work experience to be gained (ever notice how people want you to have work experience in order to give you work experience?). High school juniors and seniors looking to earn community service hours and/or recommendation letters are strongly encouraged to apply.

Must be willing to make a minimum commitment of 8 hours a week for 8 weeks.
