Congress Heights on the Rise -- from Cabo San Lucas!
The Advoc8te has flown the coop and decided to migrate south -- of the border-- for a very last minute and much needed vacation. The weather is beautiful, the margaritas are endless, and not one person has said the word "gentrification" since I arrived.
I'm in heaven.
Never fear, I will be back soon, tanner, happier, and with an even bigger passion for all things Congress Heights and Ward 8 related. Believe it or not this trip has really inspired me. It has also given me another perspective of what an "underpriveldged neighborhood" looks like in some countries.
I guess you can take The Advoc8te out of the neighborhood but not the neighborhood out of The Advoc8te.
