April 30: Viewing Party & Benefit to support education in Haiti

In case you didn't know, in February 2011, I took a trip to Haiti to provide health & nutrition programming guidance and support cultural arts education programming at an elementary school located in Bel-Air, Port-Au-Prince.  Working with the children in Haiti was a very powerful experience and I am forever changed. I am thankful for the Edeyo Foundation (http://www.edeyo.org) for reaching out to us to create this partnership. I'm also grateful for the children of the Joyous Heart School in Bel-Air for their energy, love & light. I shared snippets of my experience via my blog (here and here)


On Saturday, April 30th from 6:00 - 8:00pm, Core Connection Lifestyle and Rhythm N' Dance will be having a Viewing Party at the Center for Green Urbanisim (http://centerforgreenurbanism.org).  The event will feature a meet and greet with the Executive Director of the Edeyo Foundation, Ms. Doris Pradieu.  We will also show pictures from trip and premier a short video of the trip to everyone in attendance.  Finally, we will share our next steps forward with the Edeyo Foundation and the Joyous Heart School. We'll also let you all know how you can be apart of the journey.
