I know that with visionary leadership, 21st century thinking and a genuine commitment to serve, Ward... 8 can be an awesome place for our children, healthy business development, great schools and better communities.
This is why I am running for ANC 8E05!!"
The Advoc8e is super excited to see new people hearing the call of service and running for Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner positions! Competition is always a GOOD thing. The more qualified, dedicated and focused people the better. East of the River can never have too many qualified people ready, willing and able to serve their community better. No longer should ANC seats be won without a challenger or with no one running at all. We all can improve when there are options - especially good ones.
If there are currently any challengers out there running for an ANC seat please send your info over to CHotR for posting. The Advoc8te would love more pictures with challengers with their nominating petitions!
Will be posting the current list of ANC nominating petition pick-ups shortly. Nominating petitions are became available for pickup yesterday and are due September 3rd. Petitions must have AT LEAST 25 signatures of registered voters in that Single Member District race.
