VIDEO: Alonte Sutton, straight A student and City Council Intern

This is so very sad. This young, promising life was cut down in my very own neighborhood. So tragic and so senseless. FYI - Concerned residents have been petioning for years about the violence and gun shots heard coming from the 200 block of Newcomb Street SE. Residents have been pleading for more lights along the woods and police patrols on that block for this very reason. This is a good neighborhood with a lot of good people, unfortunetly having to deal with some bad apples. If anyone has any information about this senseless crime please contact the police ASAP.
