This Saturday May 15th: Ward 8 Democrats Hold First Mayoral Straw Poll and Voter Registration

There is a political movement growing in the city amongst those who want to hold elected officials accountable and it's starting in Ward 8! Yes, Ward 8! The first Democratic face off for DCision 2010 is being lead by the Ward Eight Democrats!

City-Wide attention will be on Ward 8 this Saturday, May 15, 2010 as we host the WARD 8 FIRST Mayoral Straw Poll and Voter Registration! Mayor Fenty and challengers Council Chairman Vincent Gray, Leo Alexander, Ernest E. Johnson and Sualimon Brown have confirmed their participation so far. Plus other city wide candidates for the Council Chair and At-Large positons will be in attendance to promote their campaigns.

Who do you want representing you in DC Government? The Ward Eight Democrats are providing you the first opportunity to meet the candidates and evaluate their platforms so that you can answer that question! Ward 8 residents can register and vote on the spot!!!!
