As a 41 year resident of Ward 8, I have never seen such an unsuccessful attempt to remove snow. Ron Austin, Clean City, worked relentlessly to assist with the snow removal and did an excellent job. However, Mr. Austin is one person and could not do it all by himself. Gabe Klein, Director of DPW, and Adrian Fenty, Mayor, should meet with Mr. Austin to be advised on how to remove snow before the city streets become an ice skating rink, unfit for man or beast.
