VICTIM OF FATAL HIT AND RUN ON SUITLAND PARKWAY NOW IDENTIFIED

(Washington, DC)- The Metropolitan Police Department has announced that the victim in the fatal hit and run accident which occurred on the Suitland Parkway has now been identified.The victim in this case has now been identified as 61-year-old Curtis General of no fixed address.

The Metropolitan Police Department continues to seek the assistance of the public with respect to any information concerning this traffic fatality which occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2009, as the victim was attempting to cross the Suitland Parkway at Stanton Road, SE.

The vehicle being sought in connection with this case is again reportedly described as being a small blue or black vehicle with possible windshield and/or hood damage and a broken head lamp. The passenger side mirror may also be missing.
