Resident Feedback - Liquor Stores and our ANCs

"Thank you for eloquently articulating the sentiments of the concerned citizens of the neighborhood. I would like to add that these liquor stores are directly affecting my quality of life. They attract an undesirable element, promote violence and they are unsightly. I am outraged that we sit in our ANC community meetings and discuss everything BUT what is having a direct negative impact on the citizens. Any ANC commissioner that is too busy to fulfill their duties should STEP DOWN. There is NO excuse for MLK ave and Malcolm X to remain an embarrassment to the city and the prominent civil rights leaders they represent."
