The Washington Ballet @ THEARC's Summer Dance Intensive, June 29 - July 24 - REGISTER NOW!
Last night (before my yoga class) I saw a children's ballet class and they were sooo cute in their little blue leotards! There were six and seven year olds who had been taking ballet for 3 years. How cool is that? THEARC offers a wonderful series of dance classes for children AND adults. If you haven't visited THEARC in Congress Heights please come out - it's a beautiful space!The Washington Ballet @ THEARC’s Summer Dance Intensive (SDI) consists of four weeks of study starting June 29 and ending July 24, Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M.- 3:00 P.M.
Boys & girls, ages six - twelve are eligible to participate. A total of seventy-five students will be accepted to the program (twenty-five students per level).
There are three skill levels: Pre-Ballet, Level 1, and Level 2. Space is limited, and registration is granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration begins Monday, March 2 at 10:00A.M.
Program Fees
The cost is based on income and household size, making the program accessible to all. Income verification is required at the time of registration.

The total cost for the Summer Dance Intensive is based on five payment groups ranging from $100-$500 per child.
A $25.00 non-refundable fee is due at the time of registration, holding your child’s space in the program. A limited number of scholarships will be awarded.

The Washington Ballet@THEARC's Summer Dance Intensive gives students from around the Washington area the opportunity to study with TWB@THEARC's faculty. The Summer Intensive offers a four-week course of study for Pre-Ballet, Level 1 and 2 students who wish to train rigorously.
