CORRECTION

The Advocate had the pleasure of speaking with Commissioner Seegars this evening at the ANC 8C meeting. Ms. Seegars was extremely gracious in informing The Advocate that despite the erroneous information posted here that Sandra Seegars has NOT been the Chairman for the past term. That office has been held by someone else.

In the past there has been reader comments posted on this blog regarding inconsistent meetings of the last ANC 8E term. Commissioner Seegars would like to assure her constituents that it has always been her policy (as reflected during her years as service as the Chair) that ANC 8E always held regular and productive meetings. Ms. Seegar's is hopeful that with the new year that ANC 8E will once again live up to it's high standards of commitment to the community.

Our apologies to Commissioner Seegars for any inconvenience and I look forward to another term with her on the ANC 8E board.
