A few months ago CHOTR was making a trip to the West Coast and was in dire need of a pair of sunglasses. Nothing like dashing up the street to the Dots in The Shops at Park Village and scoring a pair of cute and affordable sunglasses (as well as some earrings...and a bracelet....oh and a necklace) then dashing into the Giant next door to pick up some travel size toothpaste.

Congress Heights On The Rise found the store to be bright, clean, modern and best of all BUSY! Great example of "if you bring it they will come".

Hopefully a Target or Starbucks is next on the list?!!!! :)

From the Dots website:
The first Dots retail location opened in the fall of 1987 in a small suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. But the real beginning occurred 12 years before that - in 1976 - when our CEO, Bob, launched a division called Bobbi Gee.
Bobbi Gee was the store for men and women who wanted quality apparel at the lowest prices. Small wonder that the store quickly expanded to 26 locations, mostly in Ohio with a few stores in Indiana and Pennsylvania.
By the time 1987 rolled around, we had learned a thing or two from the Bobbi Gee experience. We were ready to create a store geared specifically towards women - fashionable women who wanted to enjoy stylish separates at a price that didn't break their budget.
The result, of course, was Dots - recognized throughout the retail world as offering affordable, fast, fresh, fashion along with a fun, friendly shopping experience. Since opening our first Dots store, we've grown to over 400 locations and plan to keep opening 25-50 stores each year in the future.
