District Department of Transportation is currently recruiting for
School Crossing Guard positions.
This is a GREAT part-time job!
Work four (4) hours a day from 8 AM – 10 AM and 2 PM – 4 PM.
The position is a grade CS-02, with an hourly salary of $ 11.76 to $14.46
(Promotion Potential to CS-3)
The position is located within the Transportation Operations Division,
School Crossing Guard Program.
Some of the duties include:
• Assisting children in safely crossing streets at various rotating intersections;
• Controlling the flow of traffic for the protection of pedestrians;
• Reporting any violations of traffic laws.
DDOT provides:
•
Uniforms for all crossing guards;
•
Over 12 hours of free training;
•
Metro flash passes
