David Kofi Owusu Osei is an advertising professional who stumbled into his career through LinkedIn after learning about ad sales from a college friend. He utilized his newfound skills on LinkedIn to network his way into an interview at Viacom, where he would begin his career in television ad sales. Since, he has developed his marketing acumen through working with Complex Media in Sales, Project Management, and as an On-Air Talent as well as an Event Producer for Multi-Million Dollar activations at ComplexCon. He's led Amazon and Dr. Pepper Snapple Groups Digital Advertising Strategy while working with Initiative Advertising Agency and is currently working in Branded Project Management and acting as a talent on BuzzFeed. He moonlights as a songwriter and artist, even placing a song on an HBO comedy special. He hopes to continue honing his skills while developing a consulting agency to help others learn all he has and to ascend farther than he has ever been able to reach.
