👀 Whew, Chile. Ward 8 is going through some things. The $64,000 question is, what do YOU think about it?!

The Advoc8te requests readers share their thoughts, concerns, and questions about the bribery allegations lodged against Ward 8 Councilmember Trayon White, Sr., including questions about his Ward 8 residency status. The aim is to gather diverse perspectives to foster a comprehensive understanding of the situation. And in case you missed it, there has been much speculation in the public and the press that Councilmember White resided in a luxury penthouse in Ward 6, although he owns a property in Ward 8.

Councilmember White has denied the criminal allegations and questions about his Ward 8 residency. The DC Council recently released an investigative report commissioned by the law firm Latham & Watkins.

These are strange days, and as such, there are many thoughts and discussions in the community, but most occur via whispers rather than shouts.
