Traffic Advisory | Presidential Inauguration Rehearsal Parade

On Sunday, January 12, 2025, the 2025 Presidential Inauguration Rehearsal Parade will take place in the District of Columbia. In conjunction with this event, there will be parking restrictions and street closures that motorists should take into consideration.

On Sunday, January 12, 2025, the following streets will experience intermittent street closuresfrom approximately 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and full street closures from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm:

  • Pennsylvania Avenue from 3rd Street to 20th Street, NW

  • Constitution Avenue from First Street, NE to 15th Street, NW

  • Madison Drive from 3rd Street to 15th Street, NW

  • Jefferson Drive from 3rd Street to 15th Street, SW

  • H Street from 19th Street to 18th Street, NW

  • G Street from 19th Street to 14th Street, NW

  • F Street from 19th Street to 14th Street, NW

  • New York Avenue from 18th Street to 14th Street, NW

  • E Street from 19th Street to 17th Street, NW

  • D Street from 18th Street to 17th Street, NW

  • C Street from 19th Street to 17th Street, NW

  • 3rd Street from C Street, NW to Independence Avenue, SW

  • 4th Street from Pennsylvania Avenue, NW to Independence Avenue, SW

  • 7th Street from Indiana Avenue, NW to Independence Avenue, SW

  • 9th Street from E Street to Constitution Avenue, NW

  • 10th Street from E Street to Constitution Avenue, NW

  • 11th Street from E Street to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW

  • 12th Street from E Street to Constitution Avenue, NW

  • 13th Street from E Street to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW

  • 13 ½ Street from Pennsylvania Avenue to D Street, NW

  • 14th Street from Upper Pennsylvania Avenue to Constitution Avenue, NW

  • 15th Street from H Street to Independence Avenue, SW

  • 17th Street from H Street to Constitution Avenue, NW

  • 18th Street from H Street to Constitution Avenue, NW

  • 19th Street from I Street to Virginia Avenue, NW

  • Virginia Avenue from 19th Street to Constitution Avenue, NW

  • 14th Street Bridge- inbound traffic to Independence Avenue, SW

The following streets will be posted as Emergency No Parking from Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. through Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 6:00 a.m. Of note, the following restrictions encompass the Inauguration perimeter as well:
