The Advoc8te is having hand surgery today, CHotR might be affected.

Between writing for Congress Heights on the Rise, my I.T. classes, social media and my reSPIN clients The Advoc8te spends about 14 - 16 hours a day, 7 days a week typing. As a result, I’ve developed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both of my hands for the past few years. I’ve tried almost every conceivable solution from trying (and failing) to cut back on typing, to incorporating an ergonomic keyboard and mouse, to wearing wrist braces, medication, and months of physical therapy. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t getting any better. Doing what I love was causing me a lot of pain (and typos).

But there is good news! Later today I am finally having the first of two carpal tunnel release surgeries. Today’s surgery is on my left hand and while I am excited to finally get this done it might mean that I may have to take a temporary pause on blogging/tweeting/emailing/texting for a few days while I give my hands a much-needed break. I’m hopeful that I will still be able to post even if it is less frequent. So let’s play it by ear - or maybe hands? 😂

See ya soon!
