Were your student loans unaffordable prior to the public health emergency? Were your loans in default? This hour long presentation by attorneys from Neighborhood Legal Services Program will provide you with information about new protections for student loan borrowers. Specifically, you will learn about ways you can be prepared for the end of emergency-related protections so that you can ensure that your loans are affordable and/or remain out of default after September 30, 2020. You will also receive important information about ways to protect your credit report during the public health emergency.
