Project Create seeks Program Manager, Studio Programs (Arts Education) - $40k
Project Create provides accessible arts education to promote positive development in children, youth and families experiencing homelessness and poverty.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Manager, Studio Programs will provide program management and leadership; community outreach and student engagement; data collection and analysis; development and communications support; and general program administration and support to Project Create’s Director of Programs in carrying out the organization’s mission.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Management & Leadership (50%)
Implement and oversee multi-disciplinary, curriculum-based arts education programs that are consistent with Project Create’s mission, vision and values
Identify and implement arts enrichment activities and opportunities inside and outside of Project Create studios, including workshops and field trips to local arts institutions
Produce and promote regular on-site exhibitions and performances of student work to engage audiences, promote student artists, and increase program visibility
Coordinate and supervise studio program staff, including teaching artists, studio assistants, volunteers and interns
Deliver high-quality programs according to established organizational outcomes and best practices for positive youth development
Cultivate a positive learning environment that is youth-centered, culturally-competent and trauma-informed
