Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in reference to an Attempted Robbery offense that occurred on Monday, April 27, 2020, in the 700 block of Chesapeake Street, Southeast.
At approximately 10:54 pm, the suspect approached the victim, inside of a building, at the listed location. The suspect attempted to take the victim’s property but was unsuccessful. The suspect then fled the scene.
The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photo below and in this video:
