(Washington, DC) The District’s reported data for Friday, July 17, 2020 includes 79 new positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, bringing the District’s overall positive case total to 11,194.

The District reported one additional COVID-19 related death.

Tragically, 578 District residents have lost their lives due to COVID-19.

Based on updated data, DC Health has determined that the District has experienced five days of sustained decrease in community spread of COVID-19 during Phase Two. That data is represented in the chart below.
