[PR] Arrests Made in Multiple Robbery Offenses

Sixth District:

  • On Wednesday, July 17, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 16 year-old juvenile female, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for an Assault with Intent to Rob offense that occurred on Friday, May 3, 2019, in the 200 block of 50th Street, Southeast. CCN: 19-075-883

    • At approximately 3:48 pm, four suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and demanded the victim’s property. The suspects fled the scene without obtaining any property. This case remains under investigation.

  • On Thursday, July 18, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant,25 year-old DJour Washington, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Friday, June 14, 2019, in the 1900 block of 18th Street, Southeast. CCN: 19-103-676

    • At approximately 2:30 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect demanded the victim’s property and then assaulted the victim. During the assault, the suspect brandished a handgun and took property from the victim. The suspect then fled the scene.

 

Seventh District:

  • On Monday, July 15, 2019, 24 year-old Jamon Campbell, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Monday, July 8, 2019, in the 2700 block of Naylor Road, Southeast. CCN: 19-119-104.

    • At approximately 6:22 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect snatched the victim’s property and then fled the scene. 

  • On Thursday, July 18, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 22 year-old Davon Monk, of no fixed address, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Knife) offense that occurred on May 21, 2019, in the 400 block of Atlantic Street, Southeast. CCN: 19-087-821.

    • At approximately 8:33 pm, two suspects were exiting a vehicle for hire at the listed location when one of the suspects brandished a knife and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied and both suspects fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.
