[PR] Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 300 b/o 37th Street, SE

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, December 21, 2019, in the 300 block of 37thStreet, Southeast.

At approximately 10:32 am, officers responded to the listed location for the sound of gunshots. Officers discovered an adult male and two juvenile males suffering from gunshot wounds. All three victims were transported to local hospitals for non-life threatening injuries.    

On Friday, April 24, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 16 year-old juvenile male, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).

This case remains under investigation.
