March 24, 31 + April 7 | Virtual Program for Middle and High School Students Who Care About Animals
Thursday, March 24th
Thursday, March 31st
Thursday, April 7th
4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Middle and high school students interested in learning more about HRA’s work in the community are invited to participate in a virtual animal welfare exploration.
SPEAK (Students demonstrating Passion, Engagement, Advocacy, & Kindness) encourages students to find ways to help the animals safely from home. During a series of three, one-hour online workshops, we will focus on how to support animals in our community. Students will learn about HRA, the animals in our care, and explore ways to help the animals through projects that may include highlighting adoptions through social media, creating fund-raising opportunities, and promoting awareness campaigns. SPEAK participants become more confident animal advocates ready and able to speak up for animals and help them in myriad ways.

The cost for the workshop is $25. However, no student will be denied access to participate because of the inability to pay.
